Please arrive 10 minutes before your first appointment to allow time to fill out a client information and medical history form. This will make me aware of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect the treatment.

This appointment is all about you and what you are expecting from the massage.  If at any time you feel uncomfortable, too warm or too cold, or if you need more or less pressure please feel comfortable with letting me know.  My goal is to give you the perfect treatment that is just right for you. 

Oils and/or creams are used for the massage. Some are scented and some are unscented. Please let me know me if you have a preference or if you have an allergy or sensitivity to scents. The same holds true if you have a sensitivity to candles, please just let me know.

 

Reasons to cancel or delay making an appointment include:

Being in an acute stage of an illness such as a cold or flu
If you are taking an anticoagulant medication
If you have a recent history of blood clots
Recent trauma or surgery
Acute Inflammation
Fever
Nausea
In the case of Pregnancy Massage, if there is an instance where a woman may be considered high risk, I will need to obtain doctor approval before we can proceed. This is in the best interests of mother and baby.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, kindly give 24 hour notice. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice will be billed unless the appointment time can be filled.
